SMU Circle Fund: Class of 2026 SPECIAL
As you prepare to graduate, here is your chance to leave your mark on SMU in a way that reflects who you are and what these years have meant to you, while supporting the juniors who come after you.
Every gift towards the SMU Circle Fund will support financial aid for SMU students from lower-income families, enabling them to make the most out of the opportunities that the University offers, as you have.
With a gift of $50, your name and degree programme will be featured on a digital donor wall on this website. Your name and degree programme will also be displayed on a digital screen during Commencement. Spot your name, take photos with your friends, and celebrate being part of a graduating class that chose to give back.
With a gift of $120, your name, degree programme, and a quote of your choice will be engraved on a commemorative plaque and permanently installed in a seminar room on campus. Submit a quote that captures your reflections, humour, or advice from your time at SMU, and inspire future generations walking the same path you once did.
How it works
- Make a gift of at least $50 or $120 to the SMU Circle Fund — either as a one-time donation or by accumulating smaller monthly contributions. Your one-time gift or first monthly contribution must be made by 31 October 2026.
- Once your total contributions reach $50, your name and degree programme will be automatically included in the digital donor wall.
- Once your total contributions reach $120, we’ll be in touch within a month to collect your quote.
- Timeline:
- For quotes collected by 19 June 2026, plaques will be produced by Commencement 2026.
- For quotes collected after 19 June 2026, plaques will be produced and installed in 2027. - We’ll share the location of your plaque and a photo with you once it’s been installed.
This opportunity is exclusive to the Class of 2026 and available only during this graduation season. Make your first gift by 31 October 2026 to be part of this meaningful legacy!
