The SMU Steven Miller Scholarship at SCIS

Established in 2016, the SMU Steven Miller Scholarship was set up as a collective gift from donors in honour of Professor Steven Miller. As the founding dean of SCIS, Professor Miller was instrumental in charting the growth of the School, building it into the world-class institution that it is today. The scholarship aims to attract young talent to SCIS by ensuring deserving students are able to pursue their university education despite their financial hardship.

The scholarship is available to local and foreign undergraduates studying full-time at SCIS and to date, the scholarship has supported seven students at SCIS. Professor Miller recently met up with four of the scholars for their annual lunch meeting (pictured).
