The SMU Ambassadorial Corps Study Mission Grant
Established in 2018, The SMU Ambassadorial Corps Study Mission Grant aims to provide financial support to financially challenged students in their expenses for the study missions offered by the University. The Grant valued at $2,000 each will be awarded to students to subsidise their travel expenses and provide recognition to students who exhibit a passion to promote the University’s name, brand, and culture.
Using a country-specific study as its base, Overseas Study Missions examine rapidly developing business environments and the available opportunities in a specific country. Particular emphasis is placed on the socio-political, cultural, and legal environments, and the influence they exert on business practices. Students will be able to experience a business community within the region, broadening their business acumen and perspective and making them more valuable when they enter the workforce.
The SMU Ambassadorial Corps (ASMU) is celebrating its 20th anniversary!
Since 2003, many cohorts of SMU Ambassadors have fulfilled the meaningful legacy to live, love, and share their SMU experiences with those around them. As we celebrate ASMU's 20th anniversary this year, we are grateful to have this opportunity to recognise the dedication of our Ambassadors for the past 20 years and continue the giving tradition established by our alumni Ambassadors.
