Han C.F. Bursary Set Up to Ease Financial Burden of SMU Students

The Han C.F. Bursary was established in 2020 by Mr Han Koon Juan, in honour of his father, Mr Han C.F, who founded Tee Hai Chem Pte Ltd. The fifty-year-old family business provides transformative supply chain solutions for materials, chemicals and services for the life sciences, electronics manufacturing and research & diagnostics sectors in Singapore and Southeast Asia. Mr Han Koon Juan is currently the Executive Director of the company, along with his three siblings.

With a firm belief in making a difference for the community, Mr Han Koon Juan continues his father’s legacy in helping the less privileged through different charitable initiatives at the corporation as well as in his personal capacity. The term bursary, valued at $8,000, would support SMU undergraduates in need of financial assistance during their course of study.
