Renewing A Commitment To Youth Development

For over 50 years, City Developments Limited (CDL) has helped to shape Singapore’s cityscape, and champion the development of green buildings and sustainable practices. More than taking the lead, CDL has long held a strong belief in nurturing the next generation of socially and environmentally conscious business leaders, and had established the CDL Young SDG Leaders Fund with SMU back in 2014.

Since its launch, the fund has provided key support for students who want to take part in local and overseas community service projects. In particular, the fund aims to support projects that promote environment or youth development, and are aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development goals.

The company has renewed its support to the fund in 2019 with an additional gift that will continue impacting lives at the University for an additional five years.
