PayPal Pte Ltd Establishes Bursary at SMU School of Information Systems

Online payments firm PayPal has established a bursary gift of $32,000, available to full-time undergraduates from the School of Information Systems (SIS) at the Singapore Management University (SMU). It supports financially challenged and deserving undergraduates, motivating them to achieve academic excellence.

With SMU, PayPal established its first-ever fintech scholarship in 2017 and the Women Luminaries Program Scholarship in 2019. Both scholarships support exceptional student talent in SIS and encourage these undergraduates to pursue a career in technology after graduation.

Their open digital payments platform gives 277 million active account holders the confidence to connect and transact in new and powerful ways.
